Physical fitness is a fundamental aspect of human health and sports performance. Athletes participate in systematic training programs designed to improve various components of fitness such as strength, endurance, speed, agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular efficiency. Non-athletes generally do not engage in such organized training and may therefore possess lower fitness levels. The present study was conducted to compare the physical fitness levels of athletes and non-athletes. Sixty students (30 athletes and 30 non-athletes) aged between 16 and 20 years were selected for the study. Five physical fitness variables were assessed: speed, agility, muscular strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. Standardized fitness tests were used for data collection. The results indicated that athletes performed significantly better than non-athletes in all selected fitness components. The study concludes that regular participation in sports and physical training enhances overall physical fitness and contributes to better health and athletic performance.
