Abstract

India, with its vast population and diverse challenges, stands at a critical juncture where technology and environmental sustainability intersect. As the country strides toward becoming a digital superpower, & Now we enter the 21st Century higher education in India. Higher Education plays a crucial role in meeting the development of social and economic sectors. so far the social sector is concerned universities were seen as institutions which not only provide degrees but also contribute towards higher quality human resource development. The sustainable Development goals in a global call to action to address as poverty, inequality, climate change, and quality education. This paper is an attempt to fetch the ways and means to attain the above said benchmarks under digital literacy for sustainability. Higher education institutions play a pivotal role in advancing the SDGs by integrating them into their academic, research and operational framework. This research paper advocates how higher education can foster progress towards the Sustainable development Goals.
