Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most influential technological developments in contemporary education. In the field of English language learning, AI has introduced innovative instructional practices that move beyond traditional classroom boundaries. AI driven platforms provide personalized instruction, immediate feedback, adaptive assessments, and interactive learning environments that support learners in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. By integrating technologies such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, speech recognition, and intelligent tutoring systems, AI enables meaningful language engagement and continuous improvement. This paper examines the expanded role of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing English language skills and critically discusses the major technological methods used in AI-supported language learning. The study is descriptive and analytical in nature and is based on academic literature, educational reports, and scholarly sources. The paper also highlights the educational significance, practical benefits, and challenges associated with AI integration in English language education.
